My Sunday School's Bible study on Romans 13 spoke to the Christian being clothed with light! We "put off" the "deeds of darkness" and "put on" the "armor of light"! So grateful that the light of God "can and will take care of any darkness" I experience in this world!

I am glad you are going to talk about the true this coming Sunday, and remind them we need confident in the Lord, and always is the time to forget it about us and extend our hands for the people who is down, and you will be doing again this Sunday, I will be present in heart and mind with all your people in Forest Meadow Church, and I will be reading the same Bible Psalm room by room for the Residents. Tim I am glad in this hard time for most of people you come and save them for their fair time, for me have been an honor and joy been able to continue doing my job in his name, and is just nothing, because all He has been doing for me and my family, died in the cross to save us from sin, and provide everything we need. How is your heart doing? Keep doing a good job in the Lord’s name.

Hi Everyone,

Have you ever felt like you just didn’t have the resources you needed to be successful in life? Maybe your challenge is not so much a matter of not having enough. Maybe, it has more to do with not having the right ones. Tomorrow night, our Church at Home meeting will be looking at Judges 7 as we study Part 2 of the life of Gideon.

I want to remind you that you are invited to join together online for the Church at Home. It will be online at 7:30 PM (CDT). All you will need to do is follow the directions on the graphic below, and click on the highlighted link underneath the graphic below. While the service starts at 7:30, you may want to join the meeting a few minutes early in case you run into a problem. If you have a question please feel free to email me at timahlen@me.com or call/text me at 214-403-8283.

To make the discussion more fruitful, read the passage before the Bible study!

If you do not have a Zoom invitation to attend yet, please PM me and I will send you one.

What is your pastor's name? Sorry. I'm visiting. 🙂

Good to be here

Good morning church family. Thanks to Larry and Matt for singing and playing one of my favorite songs.

I was amazed to read a major Baptist voice say this week that we have overplayed the Sunday service card. Are we really called simply to come, sit back, and be served? It puts the congregation in a passive position.

Good morning my fellow brothers and sisters

When I was in 1st grade I would irritate my mom by laying down in the pew and sticking my feet in the air. Nobody seemed to mind this morning.

My brother Me and my family are not good, All the family members of our church are not good They have no work, no income, All were poor, day laborers, all the members of our church now have no food, Many are living humanely without eating, Corona virus has increased so much in Bangladesh, we can not leave the house, every product has increased in value, Which is beyond our purchasing power, Our church needs a lot of prayers and emergency relief for the 18 poor families, They haven't died of any coronary virus yet, But if it continues for so long, then everyone is Can die without eating, I have no choice but to pray to the Lord for our church, I cannot help or feed them alone, I can't afford I love all the members of our church, I don't want to lose any of them, I'm very worried, I always pray to the Lord Jesus Christ for our help, I pray for everyone who has died and been sick from the corona virus worldwide, that the pestilence must be freed from the Nobel Corona virus in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Brother, you and your family and everyone in the church will be well and secure. The blessing of the Lord is with us all. Amen. Pastor Gabriel Biswas Bangladesh.

To All Forest Meadow Baptist Church Members, Attenders and Friends:

You all are aware of the State of Emergency that has been declared in Dallas and beyond. Like many of you, I have been in discussions with other pastors, denominational leaders and business leaders, as well as many of our own church leaders. Most importantly, I have been talking to the Lord. Following are the steps our family of churches will be taking for this Sunday.

OUR PROTOCOL
1. This protocol will be in place for this Sunday, March 15 only.

2. We will cancel all Sunday school activities. I know that children are the least susceptible, but many of our teachers are older and among the most vulnerable.

3. We will hold our regular weekend worship services at our regular times.

4. We will take the following precautionary measures:
A. Sanitizing hand wipes or liquid sanitizer will be
given to each person as they come in the front
door.
B. Each person coming into the building will be asked
the following questions:
1. Have you had a fever, sore throat or cough in
the last seven days?
2. Have you traveled outside the United States
in the last 21 days?
3. Have you been in physical contact with
anyone whohas a fever, sore throat or cough
in the last seven days?
4. Anyone answering “yes” to any of these
questions will be asked politely to take a
week off from church or view the service at
home on Facebook Live.
C. Prior the beginning of each service, each of our
two worship centers, the kitchen and restroom
must be sanitized by wiping down each door
handle, and other "high touch" areas.
D. Chairs will be set up with as much distance
between them as is practical.
E. Worshipers will be asked to refrain from shaking
hands, hugging or otherwise making physical
contact with one another.
F. We will review the situation Wednesday of next
week to determine if further measures are needed
or if we can go back to a normal schedule.

5. For you who can’t or shouldn’t come to worship, we
encourage you to join us on Facebook Live

Stay safe, healthy and close to God. He will get us all through this! I hope to see you this weekend.

In Christ's Love,
Pastor Tim

Praying 🙏🏼

This kid's going to be a believer one day! Here is a copy of Pastor Pierre Bitar's latest prayer letter. He is working to begin an Arabic language work in Dallas.

Dear beloved,

I just want to share with you my brief ministry news during the last couple of month. Also the ministry plan for the coming weeks. First, I want to thanks the Lord for this summer and the ministry I was engaged with. I had the chance to visit a couple of families to be available to them, build a relationship, share Jesus's love and pray with them. One of the families that I visited was in Oklahoma City and I praise God for the fellowship and sharing the Word of God that brought joy to us as a family and for them as well. (My vehicle made it to OK without blowing the head gasket one more time).

Also, going every Thursday with Pastor Tim and other members from FMBC to Shiloh Village Apartments in Dallas to meet refugee families and organizing soccer teams, share the gospel and to pray with them. During our visits, I felt the need for the kids to be accepted and to be loved. There is a lack of fatherhood among those kids and how important to reach out to them and show Jesus's love.
We also touched the need to start a new ESL class in the complex to be able to build more relationships and have the opportunity to present the Gospel.

I’ll be also reaching out next week to the community to share with them “Eid al-Adha”, "festival of the sacrifice” in this way we'll have the chance to visit and build bridges of love.

Also, I have two back to a school event with the Arab refugees that are taking place in the next two weeks. The purpose is to help them get school supplies and to share the Gospel.

Besides that, Phoebe is having a blessed time in her work at Sam's Club. She meets a variety of people including Arabs and she was able to have a ministry among those people. With in the short period of time, the Lord used her in a unique way such as; reconciling Christian believers with each other, encouraging people, served others and prayed with many.

Prayer Points

1. Pray for fruitful time with the people
2. Pray for the new ESL class
3. Pray for our financial needs

If you are interested in learning how one group of believers is moving toward a genuine multiethnic gospel community, join us next Sunday at 10:50 AM. ... See MoreSee Less

Many of you remember Jasmine Austin. She is a granddaughter of Ray Branch's, was baptized in our church and attended for some time, but moved away after she graduated high school. She has been in the hospital for some months now, much of the time in a coma. Ray told me this morning that they are afraid she is giving up and asked for prayer. Please pray. ... See MoreSee Less

For such a small congregation, God has certainly blessed us with amazingly talented AND consecrated worship leadership. I thank God for our Minister of Worship Arts Larry Permenter, Church Pianist Matt Lewis, bass player Santiago Godinez, violinist Jonathas Pavam, and vocalists Raquel Godinez and Courtney Stem. Here, the Praise Team is singing a beautiful duet entitled "Born Again."

Today, we baptized Delilah Riley. Delilah and her two children, Curtis and Kyleon, recently moved to Lake Highlands from Jackson MS, and in the process of moving she realized she need to make a firm faith commitment to Jesus Christ. She has done that and is now making a public profession of her faith by following the Lord in Believer’s Baptism.
We praise the Lord for Dalilah’s new life in Dallas, but more importantly for her new life in Christ!

It is with great sadness and Christian sympathy that I need to share with our FMBC family that Ganimete Krasniqi has passed away. Ganimete is the sister of Eva McAfee, and will be sorely missed by those left here on this earth. Please pray for Eva and Jarred, as well as the Krasniqi family as they mourn Ganimete's sudden passing.

is the death of his faithful servants."
